This Cookie Policy explains the small files and browser storage ZaxSocial uses, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, IndexedDB and service-worker caches, let a web app remember things on your device.
Essential cookies only
ZaxSocial uses only essential cookies, which are needed for the service to work:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
wordpress_logged_in_* | Keeps you signed in. |
wordpress_sec_* | Protects your session. |
wordpress_test_cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies at sign-in. |
Local storage
The app also stores some information on your device:
zs-themeremembers whether you chose light, dark or system theme;zs-recent-searchkeeps your recent searches on this device;zs-pending-orderlets the app finish a payment if the page reloads;- an IndexedDB cache keeps recent data (for example your chat list) so the app opens quickly and works offline;
- service-worker caches keep the app's files so it loads fast and can be installed.
No advertising or analytics trackers
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics. Our usage statistics are counted on our own servers.
Third parties
- Facebook SDK: loaded only on the WhatsApp connect screen, so you can sign in with Meta to connect your number. Meta may set its own cookies while you use it.
- Flutterwave: when you pay, you go to Flutterwave's checkout page, which uses its own cookies under its own policy.
Because we use only essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
Managing cookies and storage
You can delete cookies in your browser settings; you will be signed out. To clear the app's local data, open Settings › Storage and data › Clear cached media on this device, or Settings › App › Clear app cache & reload.
